School Internship Phase 2 - Day 1- 3

Day 1 14-06-2023 Wednesday 

 Today is the first day of our School internship Phase 2. We reached school at 9 in the morning.After that we meet the HM Sreekumar sir and handed him the letter from the college. Then we meet our subject teachers and got the time table from them.

Along with us there are student teachers from KTCTcollege and karyavattom college. From the school we were given a large classroom for all of us to sit in.

According to the timetable the second period was class 9C for me.2nd period I went to the class and social science teacher shaji sir was with me after introducing him in front of the children I got to know all the children and they were very happy.Since it was the first class, I did not teach them today, instead I asked them about their interests and tastes.

Then the fourth period was Nikhila's period and I went with Nikhila to get to know the children in eighth grade.

Then the fourth period was 8b for me.Teacher Jisha was with me in the class and the teacher introduced me in front of the children.Later I got to know the children and drew some pictures with them.
I sat down and wrote the lesson plan in the afternoon when I had no period.In the 6 th period i had a class on 7 th standard and i taught them Renaissance.

The school left at 3:30 in the evening. We were responsible for leaving the children in line and then left the school.
It was a very happy day today the second step as a teacher has started today I am starting my teaching career again with good hope and determination to become a teacher who will do justice to my children in every way.



Day 2 - 15-06-2023 - Thursday

Today is the second day of our teaching practice.
We all reached school at 9:00 p.m. After signing the attendance, those who had periods went to the classes.I was in class for the first three periods. Class was fourth period.Fourth period I was in class 8b. Today I thought Today I taught them paleolithic age. All the students of the class was very interested to study the topic. I show them so many pictures related to paleolithic age and they were so excited to see them all. The students was so responsive. After the class I give them homework for tomorrow.

 After the lunch break, in the fifth period I wrote the lesson plan. After that I had class on 9th C.  Today I thought them Medieval world : Centres Of Power.The students were a bit noisy but they were easy to manage.  After that I had no period on 7 th hour.
The school left at 3:30 in the evening. We were responsible for leaving the children in line and then left the school.

 Today was a good day.I have learned how to adequately manage a noisy class and how to plan and teach according to the children's interests.


Day 3 - 16-06-2023 - Friday

 Today was the third day for internship Phase 2.We all reached school at 9:00 p.m. After signing the attendance, those who had periods went to the classes.I didn't have class for the first three periods, so I sat down and wrote the lesson plan.
The 4th period was 9C for me and the class was taught by the The Arab Empire, The Ottoman Empire and The Mongol Empire.
 After the lunch break I had a substitution period on 8 f. In the 6th period i had no class so wrote the lesson plan.My last period was 9C but Arya in Biology said she wanted a class so I gave Arya the class.

The school left at 3:30 in the evening. We were responsible for leaving the children in line and then left the school.

Today was a good day.I learned how to share ideas with very active and responsive children.

All three days of this week have been very important happy days for me and I pray that next week will be just as happy and even better.

Day 26 - 24/07/2023 - Monday Today was the 26th day of our teaching practise. On 9:00 am, we all reached school and signed the attendance. Today I had my second period on 9 C, and I completed the second chapter. Then I had my period on 8F, and I taught them about soil conservation. Then, in 4th period, I had class on 8 b, and today I completed the fourth chapter. After my lunch break, I had no period, and I prepared questions for the diagnostic test. Today was a good day. On 9:00 am, we reached school and signed the attendance. Today I had a period on the first hour in 9 C, and I gave them the notes of the second chapter. Day 32 - 31/07/2023 - Monday Today was the 32nd day of our teaching practise. At 9:00 am, we all reached school and signed the attendance. Today I have second period on 9 C, and I taught them the balance of National Income. Then I had a period on 8 F, and I taught them about Executive. Then I had a period on the 5th hour at 8 a.m. and gave them revision. At 3:30 pm, after doing line duty, we left the school. Day 33 - 1/08/2023 - Tuesday Today was the 33rd day of our teaching practise. On 9:00 am, we all reached school and signed the attendance. Today i had 3 rd period on 9 c and I taught them about How to calculate National Income. Then i had 5 th period on 8 F and today  I completed the whole portion and give the notes.
